Westerly Vulcan pilot house yacht. She is fully
insured and MCA coded for 8 people to sail up to
60m offshore (Category 2 waters). This well
equipped vessel is seaworthy, strong, dependable
and comfortable. Sail and explore local waters,
the UK coastline or venture further afield, from
4 hours to 4 weeks the choice is yours! With her
shallow draught she can lay peacefully at anchor
in remote waters other craft are unable to
access. Owner and skipper Carol Thompson is a
commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
with much local sailing experience and has also
circumnavigated the UK, visiting the Orkney and
Hebride Islands and Ireland in 2007. Add a
recent passage across the Bay of Biscay in June
2008 and you see some of your skipper’s
experience. Committed to providing value for
money with a safe enjoyable time for all.
Competitive prices are inclusive, with good
food, a warm comfortable saloon and clean cosy
cabins.
Guests can simply relax, or participate if they
wish to sail and ‘have a go, under the watchful
eye of their experienced skipper.
