Estuary Sailing navigation
and sea school is a RYA approved training
centre.
Our aim is to provide top quality,
safe tuition at very competitive prices.
Courses are run
for:-
• RYA shorebased theory courses.
• RYA powerboat courses.
• RYA sail cruising courses.
• RYA motor cruising courses.
Estuary
Sailing is based at Fambridge Yacht Haven a
friendly professional marina on the River Crouch
in Essex at the quiet and peaceful village of
North Fambridge in Essex enjoying excellent
access via road, rail or sea.
RYA Shorebased
theory courses are taught in our own clean and
b right dedicated training room at the marina
with light refreshments provided during
training.
RYA Sail
Cruising and Yachtmaster scheme training
which commences with RYA Start Yachting
then RYA Competent Crew continuing to RYA
Day Skipper building to the advanced RYA
Yachtmaster Coastal is available.
From November 2011 Estuary Sailing are proud to
announce they are now a RYA recognised training
centre for the RYA Motor Cruising and
Yachtmaster scheme.
Courses available are RYA Helmsmans, RYA Day
Skipper and RYA Coastal Skipper. We
will also provide a combined Helmsman and Day
Skipper course to run over a 5 day period.
All courses
including RYA Yachtmaster MCA preparation
and exam are taught aboard MCA coded vessels.
The top quality craft used are 1980 34ft
Westerly Vulcan yacht,
Cigala Bertinetti motor cruiser and Northstar
5.5m rib. All vessels are well equipped, safe,
comfortable and have been chosen for their
suitability as training craft.
The sheltered
waters of the River Crouch and its nearby
harbours and anchorages are ideal for teaching
boat handling and sailing skills. All courses
are provided using enthusiastic skilled
professional skippers. The waters of the Thames
estuary and beyond provide challenges for more
advanced training, mileage building and night
sailing.
Estuary Sailing
provides RYA tuition during weekday and
weekends, with an itinerary set up to suit most
students. An added benefit of having our own
dedicated training room and boats is that
additional courses can often be provided at
short notice and with smaller groups.

and practical tuition to high standards in a
laid back style we hope you will enjoy your time
